Half Marathon recovery and Scattered Showers
On Sunday I ran the Amsterdam half marathon, it was also my birthday. Running 21 km round the city that I love, on a beautiful day was a pretty special way of spending my 31st birthday. I was also running to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that is very important to me. However on day two post run, my legs are not obeying my commands, I am still coming downstairs side ways and you do NOT want to see me trying to get down from my sons top bunk bed.
Any way I can just about press the foot peddle down on my sewing machine, in doing so I have finished the Stitched canvas version of ‘Scattered Showers‘, it is also available in print form. I hope you like it, I have been tinkering with it for a while.
Put the kettle on!
I have been wanting to draw some teapots for ages! I wish I had the room to collect them, but I don’t so have put them in print form instead. Your can purchase this print from my shop.
Right, off to make another pot of tea…
A beautiful October day
Yesterday I had a stall at the Sunday Market, here in Amsterdam. Whatever the time of year here you can’t truly rely on the weather. So I was a little concerned that my prints and canvases would be drenched and blowing away down the nearest canal. However we were lucky enough to wake up to a beautiful blue sky and what is more is stayed all day!
I always enjoy being able to meet the people who buy my work, so thank you to every one who popped by and for those who went home with some of my work – I hope you enjoy it!
Coffee is made, children are at school it’s time for some work.
City Living…
Newly spruced up ‘City Living’ illustration and ‘City Living – stitched canvas print’, both now available in my shop.
